As a member of the HR Department in Tulisa Park Johannesburg, you will be responsible for administrative activities as well as gaining working experience for a period of one year.
Responsibilities
Recruitment:
You will enter job requisitions into the Engage system in accordance with the job parameters provided by the HR Manager. You will update the Engage recruiting platform and screen possible candidates who fit the job requirements.
You will schedule interviews in the calendars of HR Managers and Line Managers and send interview confirmation emails to candidates. You will conduct and/or request reference checks, employment checks, and any other pre-recruitment documentation. You will help to represent the company at recruitment events such as career fairs.
Onboarding
You will help with the new hire onboarding process. You will help with new employee orientation. You will be in charge of employee file management. You will build new employee files in accordance with industry standards for new recruits.
You will help to update employee personnel files in accordance with compliance and/or relevant regulations.
Payroll Administration
You will prepare the weekly salary for the HR / Payroll Administrator’s approval. You will calculate timesheets, overtime, shift and transportation allowances, and so on. You will make changes to the temporary employee contract sheet.
Training & Development
You will source Accredited training providers. You will be responsible for updating internal training records and maintaining internal training registers. You will be in charge of coordinating internal training room setup and ensuring that booked workers attend.
You will keep track of training attendance records and certification. Training will be scheduled on the employees’ calendars.
General
You will contribute to wellness initiatives. You will be in charge of canteen invoices, vouchers, and function counts. You will be in charge of processing SAP purchase orders. You will be in charge of filling. You will be in charge of general administration. You will contribute to HR Policies and Procedures.

Requirements
- HR diploma / degree or studying for an HR qualification
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
