Job Description

The successful candidate will provide direct support to the Department of Health at the facility level, including data-related admin tasks, patient file capture, defaulter report generation, and monthly statistics compilation.
Key duties and responsibilities
- Capture patient information into all database platforms, such as TIER.Net and other Department of Health database applications.
- Conduct data quality checks and audits with close guidance from the M&E Officer.
- Perform monthly data validations using specified tools on gathered data from DHIS, Tier.net, and TB modules/ETR.
- Help facility data capturers populate run charts for DIP elements.
- Update tracing results from CHWs and CLOs on the defaulter tracing tool.
- Coordination and collection of ad hoc and routine weekly data from facilities by all Anova team members in the sub district.
Requirements
- Grade 12
- tertiary graduates have a advantage.
- Competency in data capture through experience or training is required, along with the ability to operate under pressure and fulfill deadlines.
- Fast and reliable data capture skills
- Excellent administrative and organizing skills.
- Effective facilitation and communication skills.
- Able to speak in English and other South African official languages.
- Computer literate
