Job Summary
We are recruiting for a Food Service Assistant to join our team. The Food Service Assistant assists the Cooks and Chefs with food productions and preparations, serves food, and keeps the dining area and kitchen clean.
Requirements
- Grade 12
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar job.
- Culinary qualifications would be advantageous.
- Valid Driver’s License
Duties And Responsibilities
- Assists with food preparation, particularly salads and sweets.
- Puts dinners, salads, desserts, and other food on the serving line.
- Keeps the serving line well-stocked and clean.
- Stores and records food leftovers.
- Keeps the canteen tables, kitchen, and other facilities clean and organized.
- To carry out any reasonable request from management.
- May be expected to assist with any other duties that may be beyond the scope of responsibility.
