Job Position: Sales and Customer Care

Requirements

  • 2+ years relevant experience in sales handling and customer care.
  • Must reside within the City of Johannesburg borders, and proof of residence will be required.
  • An applicant who can communicate in a language spoken in a major public service.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers and stakeholders relating to the station-related functions and assist with their service expectations.
  • Facilitate and manage the resident process in customer relation practices.
  • Facilitate sales support and escalate cash discrepancies.
  • Support customer service needs and capture service requests.
  • Assist with ticketing, validations, and related processes at the station level.
  • Ensure compliance with all organizational policies and regulations.

Skills And Competencies

  • Good communication skills
  • Basic to intermediate numeracy skills
  • Good interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to assist customers effectively without leaving the counter
  • Basic knowledge of processes within the cash/sales environment
  • AFC Point of Sale
  • Knowledge of Basic Customer Care
  • Collaborative/Teamwork, Values and Integrity, Attention to detail, and quality-focused
  • Customer and Service Delivery Management (Batho Pele) Ethics, Professionalism
