Job Description
Individuals interested in the aforementioned position are urged to apply. The incumbent will be appointed permanently. The position is based in Legal Aid SA’s Pretoria Local Office.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean physical environment and provide office services as needed.
- Provide exceptional office support services to legal practitioners and other local office staff, such as messenger responsibilities.
- Ensure that reports and paperwork are sent/delivered to the correct people on time.
- Maintain an incoming/outgoing fax registry that follows the specified format.
- Incoming mail is handled in accordance with Legal Aid SA’s administrative processes.
- All documentation must be carefully and accurately filed.
- The switchboard must be manned at all times, and good telephone etiquette must always be followed.
- Mail is collected and posted on a daily basis.
- Transporting Legal Aid SA staff members to courts, provincial or national offices in accordance with Legal Aid SA’s relevant Transport/Fleet Management policies and procedures.
Requirements
- National Senior/Matric certificate.
- A valid driver’s licence.
