Salary: R 141 896.31 per annum
Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate; and
- No previous work experience.
Skills And Compitencies
- Good planning and organising skills; and
- Teamwork and be result driven
Duties And Compitencies
- Dig trenches and back filling in accordance to the maintenance standards;
- Remove and replace pipe sections, couplings, valves and meters;
- Assist to bend pipes to required angles by use of pipe bending machine;
- Load and off-load material and equipment required for maintenance work;
- Clean manholes and valve chambers to protect equipment against corrosion and safeguard the public against injury;
- Maintain good house-keeping of all surrounding work area, storages, workshops and vehicles;
- Adhere to OHSA and SANAS standards and Magalies Water safety Policies and Procedures.
