Purpose of the Job
The Trainee Driver Trainer supports the Driver Training Department by developing the skills and knowledge needed to become a certified Driver Trainer.
Through mentorship, hands-on experience, and formal training, the role prepares individuals to deliver coaching, assess performance, and promote safe, compliant driving in line with organisational standards.
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Code EC driver’s license with valid PrDP
- 3+ years’ driving experience with a clean record
- Interest in driver education and development
- Willingness to work flexible hours (evenings/weekends if required)
- Basic computer literacy (for learner management and reporting systems)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Eagerness to learn, patient demeanor, and professionalism
- Physically capable of performing route inspections and training demos
