Duties And Responsibilities

• Assist technicians in inspecting heavy earthmoving equipment
• Assist technicians in doing basic troubleshooting, testing, maintenance, and repairs
• Assist technicians in removing and installing components in the workshop or on customer sites.
• Assist technicians in ordering components.
• Assist technicians in managing administrative activities (service reports, labor booking, parts returned, costs, etc.).
• Assist technicians in creating accurate client machine analysis and reports, including Machine Inspection Reports (MIR).
• Help technicians with general work, housekeeping, and customer support.

Requirements

• Grade 12 / N3 with Pure Mathematics – minimum pass of 45% (not functional mathematics)
• Grade 12 / N3 with English – minimum pass rate: 45%
• Grade 12 / N3 with a minimum of 45% in Physical Science.
• N2 / N3 with related theory will be an extra benefit. Relevant Theories: Motor/Diesel Theory or Electrical/Electronic Theory.
• Having the Technicians for The World certificate will be advantageous.
• Minimum Code B. Having a learner’s license (light motor vehicle) will be advantageous.
• Strong literacy skills (Reading, Writing, and Speaking)
• Good numeracy skills
