About the Role
SafetySA is seeking an experienced Driver Trainer Contractor to deliver high-quality Driver, Lifting, and Learnership training in line with SafetyCloud SHE standards and SAQA / SETA / NOSA requirements. This role is ideal for a professional trainer who is passionate about skills development, compliance, and empowering learners through effective, outcomes-based training.
Key Responsibilities
Training Preparation & Facilitation
- Plan, prepare, and deliver training sessions using approved curricula and learning materials
- Ensure all training equipment is fully functional and ready before sessions commence
- Deliver engaging, learner-focused training tailored to varying skill levels, language needs, and cultural backgrounds
Assessment & Moderation
- Facilitate training in full compliance with SAQA, SETA, NOSA, and Quality Management System (QMS) standards
- Conduct learner assessments and moderation according to relevant codes of conduct
- Provide constructive, confidential feedback to learners
- Compile and maintain accurate and secure Portfolios of Evidence (PoE)

Administration & Reporting
- Maintain accurate learner records, reports, and training documentation
- Analyse training data and submit progress or completion reports as required
- Ensure strict adherence to NOSA QMS and internal compliance processes
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
- Attend meetings and meet all reporting and project deadlines
- Assist clients with project-related queries and deliver professional solutions
- Promote additional NOSA training offerings where appropriate
Professional Development
- Participate in ongoing professional development through workshops, seminars, and relevant courses
- Stay up to date with changes in SAQA, SETA, NOSA, SHE, and ETD best practices
- Maintain valid assessor and moderator registrations and submit updated documentation to the Training Manager
