Are you looking for an exciting new career? We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a Code 10 Learner Truck Driver. No experience is required, as we provide the necessary training and support to help you succeed. You will be responsible for operating a code 10 truck and delivering vegetables to various markets and clients. Your character and willingness to learn are what we value most.
Must already possess a valid code 8 license with a clean criminal record.
Duties and Key Responsibilities
- Operate a code 10 truck for vegetable deliveries (under supervision while you learn).
- While learning to drive a large truck, you must also be able to drive bakkies and other vehicles.
- Ensure that the truck is in good and safe condition.
- Complete delivery documentation.
- Communicate with clients regarding delivery times and requirements.
- Pay attention to the delivery routine and networks.
- Load and pick up produce from various farms
Requirements
- Minimum valid code 8 (B or EB) driver’s license.
- Reliable and responsible attitude.
- Physically capable of assisting with loading and unloading goods.
- Any experience in delivering vegetables or food products is a bonus, but not essential.
- Strong communication skills and a problem-solving approach.
