Job Position: Assistant Cleaner

Job Description
The assistant cleaner will be in charge of cleaning the shop, parts, and machines, as well as assisting in the shop as needed.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Floors should be cleaned with a broom and soapy water.
- Wash and dry equipment and windows with soapy water.
- Ensure that cleaning materials and equipment are used effectively.
- Before assembly or inspection, clean all components using chemicals.
- When necessary, assist the artisan.
- Paper waste should be placed in specifically marked bins for collection by the recycling company.
- All cleaning supplies and equipment should be neatly stored in the allocated cupboards on each floor.
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Good interpersonal skills, basic communication abilities, and literacy are required.
- Previous cleaning experience in the engineering field
- Previously worked as a cleaner in an engineering workplace.
- Bilingual

- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal abilities
- The employee is expected to sit, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear while performing the activities of this profession.
- The employee must stand, walk, climb, or balance.
- The individual must be able to lift and/or move up to 20kg.
- Close vision, distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the capacity to alter focus are all necessary for this work.

- Stairs, ladders, and scaffolding climbing on job sites and in customer facilities.
- Diagnostic testing on malfunctioning systems to establish the root cause of the problem
- Observing all workplace safety rules and requirements
