Job Description
Are you an eager and motivated student with a passion for baking who is ready to enter the workforce?
RCL FOODS invites energetic and eager students to apply for the Baking Learnership Program. We are looking for 15 learners to work in Gauteng Pretoria West.
The learnership program will last 12 to 18 months and will comprise a mentorship and coaching program covering the baking process.
This is a SETA-accredited learnership, and successful candidates will be awarded a formal qualification recognized by SAQA.

For the duration of the qualification, learners will be exposed to practical work required by RCL FOODS and the SETA.
We have three key goals through the Supreme Siyabhaka Academy:
Individual learners’ abilities will be nurtured and developed, resulting in employable young professionals, which are now deficient in the baking industry as a whole.
To raise awareness of our baking brands as synonymous with ‘best-in-class’ skills, service, and product.
To be the industry leader in elevating the standard of in-store and professional bakery products across the board, changing consumer attitudes, and strengthening customer relationships.
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) with hospitality studies and math (Lit) is required.
- It is advantageous to be computer literate (MS Office).
- Demonstrates motivation to succeed
- Is eager to learn and progress
- Creative, lateral thinking, and problem-solving abilities
