This drive forms part of Sedibeng Iron Ore’s community outreach and development programme to address some of the challenges within local communities
Postmasburg (Northern Cape) Sedibeng Iron Ore (PTY) Ltd is offering leamerships to currently unemployed individuals who wish to study towards a qualification in the following field.
National Certificate: Rock Breaking-Surface Excavations
Individuals who wish to apply must meet the following set of requirements.
Requirements
- Must be a South African citizen with a valid ID number
- Communications and Mathematical Literacy-NQF level 2
- Must provide certified copies of relevant qualifications and academic record
- Police clearance
- Candidate should consent to standard medicals conducted and be found medically fit
- Applicants will be screened and will be subjected to an assessment process
- Must comply with the companies internal learnership agreement standards
- Demonstrate knowledge pertaining to basic health and safety principles in and around a workplace L1
- Understand the kinds of minerals and related products mined in the South Africa Mining & Minerals Sector and their importance to both local stakeholders and within the global arena L1
- The learnership is expected to run for 1 year from assigned start date
