Job Context
Applications that meet the stated requirements are invited for a vacancy exists for a dynamic and driven PICKER/PACKER to join a team based at our Head Office in Midrand. This role reports directly to Warehouse Manager, in the Servest Hygiene Solutions Business Unit.
Requirements
- Matric Certificate
- Valid Reach truck and forklift licences
- Previous warehouse experience
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 QMS
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Following all safety and operational guidelines
- Assist with the loading and unloading of goods as needed.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Pick stock, using Granite scanners, to hand over to dispatch
- Receives Stock Receiving Controller/Assistant stacks to designated locations
- Locates and move stock to pallets for storage
- Identify damaged and expired stock and brings to attention of Warehouse Manager
- Does daily checklist on the reach truck and files in the form available and advises warehouse manager of any
machinery defects. - Do put away of stock within the warehouse
- Part takes in the monthly stock counts as well as cycle counts.
- Ensure a safe, orderly and clean working environment within the warehouse.
