Job Description
Duties
- When needed, provide professional relief reception and cashier services.
- Compiles and keeps records of commercial transactions and office activities in the store, and does the following or equivalent tasks.
- Maintain correct personnel files and records, including the sorting of leave forms and the administration and reporting of WCA claims, as well as the issuing and documenting of disciplinary action administration.
- Adding GRNs and CVRs to the system: Accurately captures GRNs/CVRs. Receipts, policies, statements, bills, and checks are prepared, issued, and distributed.
- CVR processing: Efficient CVR processing in the situation of wrong amounts received, price disparities, and damaged goods returned.
- Investigating variations, such as price/quantity discrepancies, and reporting findings to management.
- filing documents of underpaid matching GRN, buy-out details, delivery notes, and orders.
- As part of the inventory auditing procedure, you will assist with accurate cycle counting.
- Ensure that accurate and timely filing of customers’ invoices (debtors account).
- Assist the Store Accountant with all administration related to skills development and employment equity reporting.
- When needed, assistance with recruitment administration and job advertising.
- Resolving supplier issues in a professional, accurate, and timely manner.
