Job Description
Incoming stock is receipted and binned at the Siemens Warehouse, while outbound orders are picked on schedule, in whole, and with no faults. Helping in Inventory Management.
Inbound items must be binned and unpacked in line with Warehouse Management Binning Methods. Cargo loading and unloading must be completed on time.
Outgoing orders are packed using DT/IA requirements. Helping to conduct annual stock takes as well as other DT/IA tasks as required.
Duties
- Picking outgoing orders
- Receiving incoming commodities from receiving goods.
- Cargo loading and unloading.
- Inventory Management
- Assist with reclaimed inventory, transfer orders, and collections.
- Binning of goods
- Incoming items are unpacked and sorted using Warehouse Management Binning procedures.
- Outgoing order picking using Warehouse Management Picking methods.
- As required you will assist with annual stock takes.
- When needed, assist with any additional IA/DT business.
- Outbound order packing in accordance with IA/DT specifications.
- When required, assist with cycle counts.
Requirements
- Matric/Grade 12
- Related/appropriate learnership would be advantageous.
- 1 – 2 years of experience in a similar job position.
Skills
- Computer literate in Microsoft (Word, MS Excel, and Outlook).
- English proficiency, both written and verbal.
- Maintain precision at all times.
- Understanding of the Siemens WMS system.
- The ability to pay close attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and without supervision.
