Delivery Assistant – Rosslyn
Duties
- Offloading goods from the truck and delivering them to customers.
- Stacking the items on the customers’ shelves.
- Carrying the crates back to the truck.
- Assist the driver with a roadside tire change
- Bringing crates to the store
- Counting simultaneously to guarantee proper delivery.
- Assisting the driver when reversing.

Duties
- Assuring that the correct stock is loaded in accordance with the picking list/invoice
- Together with the driver, you are equally responsible for stock shortages.
- Ensure that client returns/buybacks and damaged items are returned to the Debriefer.
- Maintain a clean and neat delivery truck at all times (exterior and interior).
- Responsible for ensuring that all PODs are presented to Debriefer on the day of arrival.
- Ensure that the proper supply is supplied to the customer in accordance with the invoice.
- Uplifting purchase refunds and backs in accordance with the claim and uplift agreement.
- Ensure that all Simba vehicle maintenance, routine checks, and other operations are conducted in compliance with Simba Policies & Procedures.
- Ensure that all PODs from customers are clear and that Simba Policies and Procedures are followed.
- Follow all health, safety, and security regulations, and PPE Compliance.
Requirements
- Grade 12/Matric
- Code 10 Drivers Licence and PDP
Skills and Competencies
- Working knowledge and expertise with the Handheld Computer (HHC) device
- The ability of working long hours and on weekends
