Tekkie Town is offering a demanding opportunity as a Sales Supervisor for our store, where you will be in charge of a team of staff. This position will report directly to the Tekkie Town Store Manager.

As a Sales Supervisor for Tekkie Town, you will be in charge of supervising the floor personnel, motivating them to meet their daily targets, providing customer service, and ensuring that the proper processes are followed and adhered to in accordance with Tekkie Town criteria.
Duties
- Increase profits by assisting the Store Manager in meeting monthly budgets.
- Assuring that stock losses are kept to a minimum.
- Implement promotions, visual merchandising ideas, and store standards effectively.
- Daily customer service efforts must be coordinated (e.g. orders, payments, and sales processes)
- Sales Associates, both new and experienced, are coached and supported.
- Make certain that all personnel follow the company’s Standard Operating Procedures.
- Ensure that the administration of the store follows the Standard Operating Procedures.
- The capacity to implement and sustain brand standards in accordance with client expectations.
- Keeping up with the most recent trends in stock arrivals (unpacking process).
- Supervise and motivate employees to ensure that daily goals are accomplished.
- In the absence of the Store Manager, the capacity to operate the store.
- Opening and Closing of the store.
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Computer Literate, MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel and etc).
Skills and Experience
- A minimum of 1 – 2 years experience as a Sales Assistant in the retail sector is required.
- Excellent interpersonal and selling skills.
- Has a strong energy level and is performance-oriented.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent customer service skills, as well as the ability to interact and communicate with consumers.
- Fluent (both written and spoken) in English and another applicable official South African language.
- Strong logical thinking and analytical skills
- Excellent organizational, planning, and time management abilities.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
