Responsibilities
- Litter picking, street sweeping, and removing poster
- Cleaning informal settlements & assisting with clean-up campaigns.
- Distribution of plastic refuse bags in informal areas.
- Monitoring illegal dumping hotspots.
- Educating residents on proper waste management.
- Reporting incidents & community engagement
Requirements
- Must be a City of Johannesburg resident
- Proof of residence (or affidavit)
- Valid SA ID/Smart ID card
- Must be unemployed & available for interviews
- No criminal record
- Basic literacy and good communication skills
- Ability to perform manual work
