About The Program
The Vodacom E-Waste Management Learnership Programme is designed to equip participants with essential knowledge and practical skills in managing electronic waste. As the world increasingly faces environmental challenges due to electronic waste, Vodacom recognizes the need for skilled individuals who can contribute to innovative recycling solutions. This programme seeks to provide young South Africans with the training and mentorship they need to succeed in the e-waste management sector.
Participants will work with leading industry professionals in Gauteng, where they will not only gain technical expertise but also develop soft skills needed for a career in the sector. The learnership lasts for one year and is a fixed contract, allowing individuals to immerse themselves in the growing field of e-waste management.

Requirements
- Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 35 years.
- Grade 12 (Matric) certificate with either Maths or Maths Literacy and Science is required
- Applicants must reside in Gauteng and provide proof of residence.
- The programme is intended for individuals who are currently unemployed and not enrolled in any other learnership or educational programme.
- Applicants must be South African citizens with a valid ID.
Skills - Basic computer literacy and good communication skills (both written and verbal) are essential.
- Additionally, applicants should be self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to work well in a team environment.
- Applicants should come from a disadvantaged background to align with the programme’s focus on uplifting communities.
