Job Description
Provides cleanliness to the hotel, with a main focus on supporting the Housekeepers duties in supplying and removing supplies for guest rooms, public areas, food and beverage outlets, laundry and specified back of house areas during the hours of 22h00 to 07h00.
This position also ensures the cleanliness of common areas such as the hotel lobby and entrance area as well as banquet and meeting rooms.
The Night House Laundry Attendant ensures that all departmental and hotel, health, safety and security policies, processes, procedures and standards are followed so that the hotel facilities, operating equipment and linen are kept in a clean and in a hygienic condition.
Requirements
- Completed Grade 12 education
- Ability to effectively communicate with others in English
- Previous practical experience in housekeeping operations in a luxury Hotel or similar
- Basic cleaning chemical and equipment knowledge and application thereof through duties
- Ability to take initiative on duties by applying attention to detail
