Job Purpose
Perform final Preparation of Aircraft and parts for paint strip or painting this includes the use of hand
tools and pneumatic machinery (Orbital sanders)
Duties And Responsibilities
- Perform preparation of aircraft and parts
– Sanding / Masking - Acknowledge receipt and monitor movement of work in progress
- Complete and sign all relevant documentation
- Assist with general hangar and workshop house keeping:
– Cleaning of work area/equipment
– Equipment, spares and material movement - Assist technicians with general preparation
Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- PC Literate
Skills And Compitencies
- Have knowledge of the SAA Technical Organisation
- Have inter-personal skills
- Have knowledge of hazardous material/chemicals
- Communication skills (verbal and written)
