Coca-Cola Kwanza (Tanzania) is inviting dedicated and safety-conscious Distribution Drivers to join our Logistics team in Dar es Salaam, reporting directly to the Distribution Team Leader.
🎯 Role Purpose
The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the safe, timely, and accurate transportation of bulk stock between manufacturing plants, distribution centres, and customers, while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining full accountability for company assets.
🔑 Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Transport bulk stock between Manufacturing Plants, Distribution Centres, Local Distribution Partners, and OCCDs (Primary Distribution)
- Deliver products to direct delivery customers and OCCDs (Secondary Distribution)
- Provide professional and efficient service to internal and external customers
- Collect, handle, and ensure correct banking of customer cash with no shortages
- Prepare, verify, and manage all delivery documentation and invoicing
- Take full responsibility for the allocated truck, mobile device, stock, and pallets
- Coordinate and receive customer invoices
- Perform daily and accurate stock counts
- Comply with all security checks and company procedures
- Supervise and manage the delivery crew on the truck
- Adhere strictly to national traffic laws and company safety standards
- Ensure zero fatalities and promote a strong safety culture
- Settle loads after each delivery
🎓 Qualifications & Requirements
- VETA Driving Certificate
- Form IV Secondary Education
- Valid and applicable driver’s licence (minimum 3 years
