Job Summary
This position entails using a forklift to securely load, unload, transport, and store merchandise inside the warehouse or yard, while maintaining precision, efficiency, and adherence to all safety and operational regulations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Grade 12 or NQF 4.
- Minimum of three years of experience.
- Valid forklift license or willingness to undergo re-examination.
- A Code 10 license with PDP would be advantageous.
- I am willing to work shifts and overtime.
- Knowledge of tire overhaul and repair would be advantageous.
- References that are traceable.
- The loading and unloading of goods.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Controls the dumping of cargo
- Load, hoist, and transport products on pallets.
- Other industry-related responsibilities.
- Cleaning responsibilities
- ADHOC responsibilities as allocated from time to time
- Assist customers/suppliers with loading and unloading of items as needed in accordance with rules and procedures.
