Job Summary
We’re looking for a skilled and responsible driver to transport corporate employees and/or cargo in a safe and timely manner. The Driver will be in charge of running and maintaining business cars, ensuring compliance with driving legislation, and providing exceptional customer service.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Safely operate corporate vehicles to transfer employees, commodities, or materials to specified places.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations, including speed limits and road signs.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to verify the vehicle is in good functioning order.
- Keep accurate and current records of trip information, including distance, fuel consumption, and maintenance reports.
- Provide exceptional customer service to passengers and/or clients, including aiding with loading and unloading products.
- Keep the vehicle nice and clean at all times, inside and out.
- Effectively communicate with dispatchers, supervisors, and other team members to coordinate schedules and routes.
- Adhere to business regulations and procedures for vehicle use, safety, and maintenance.
- Report any accidents, problems, or vehicle issues to management right away.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Previous driving experience is desired.
- Understanding of the local traffic laws and regulations.
- The ability to work independently and follow directions.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Capable of lifting large objects and performing physical duties.
- Effective time management and organizing abilities
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
