The Key Purpose of this role is to safely operate and maintain defined Packaging equipment and related processes in order to achieve optimal effectiveness
Duties And Responsibilities
- Responsible for equipment operation, process management, and packing performance
- Implement shift-specific production plans.
- Operate both manual and automatic machines in conformity with requirements.
- Maintain process quality and productivity.
- Maintain hygiene and food safety compliance.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as tracking and monitoring procedures and taking action as needed.
- Manage PIMS and POMS to identify and remedy undesirable patterns.
- Use OFRs as per triggers.
- Contribute to AB reports as needed.
- Ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Maintain and contribute to a culture of quality and food safety excellence, assuming responsibility for systems and processes to guarantee the highest standards are reached.
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Training: A minimum of 9 months on-the-job training and completion of SKAP within 12 months.
- Experience in the Packaging FMCG industry.
- Basic PC literacy (Microsoft/SAP).
- Problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work shifts.
