Job description

We’re searching for:

Do you have a love for sales and customer service? Do you thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment? If yes, MCE Electric wants you to work as an Internal Salesperson!
You will be responsible for increasing sales and providing customer service. This job include handling leads, communicating with clients, and executing sales transactions.

Requirements

  • National Senior Certificate(GRADE 12) or equivalent to NQF 4.
  • A minimum of 1 -2 years of experience in an internal sales or customer service function, ideally in the electrical goods or allied industries.

Knowledge and Abilities

  • A thorough grasp of sales strategies and customer service procedures.
  • Ability to handle various projects, prioritise them, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
  • Effective interaction with clients and team members requires strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with sales software and tools.
  • The ability to recognize client demands and give successful solutions.
  • Professionalism in all dealings, displaying a high degree of honesty and dependability.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Management:

  • Follow up on incoming inquiries and leads via phone, email, or other means.

Customer Interaction:

  • Engage with new and existing consumers to better understand their requirements and offer relevant products or services.
  • Develop and maintain good client connections to encourage repeat business.

Sales Processes:

  • Prepare and send out quotes, proposals, and sales orders.
  • Process incoming sales orders.

Sales Administration:

  • Maintain accurate and current records of customer contacts and sales activity.

Product Knowledge:

  • Stay current on the company’s goods, services, and industry developments.
  • Educate clients about product characteristics and benefits to help them make purchase decisions.

Sales Support:

  • Collaborate with other departments to create a smooth sales process.
