Job Description
Dis-Chem Pharmacies seeks a Merchandiser for their Cresta location. You will ensure that fundamental Dis-Chem merchandising standards are followed and maintained. Your responsibilities will also include delivering outstanding customer service.
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric.
- Up to 6 months of retail experience.
- Computer literate: MS Office
- Willing and capable of working retail hours
Advantageous:
- At least one year of retail experience.

Key Duties
- Assist in loading and unloading of merchandise.
- Ensure that goods lacking barcodes are clearly marked.
- Assist with back shopping.
- Assist in training new workers.
- Offer polite, helpful, and courteous support and advice to all clients.
- Ensure that any out of stock inquiries from consumers are followed up with the customer care out of stock list.
- Ensure that any customer stock queries are addressed and handled.
Special terms of employment:
- Willing and capable of working retail hours
- Able and physically fit to carry and move big boxes while adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Reliable transportation and/or living in close proximity to the shop
- South African citizen.
