Job Description
To utilize a forklift safely and efficiently to handle, transport, load, and unload wool and mohair bales in the warehouse and container areas, ensuring appropriate stacking, inventory management, and compliance with safety requirements.
Requirements
- Matric
- 2-3 years of experience at the wool store.
- Forklift licence (valid)
- Knowledge and ability to pack bales into a container for export/shipment.
- Work autonomously.
- Able to work in a highly demanding workplace.
- Understanding of load distribution and weight restrictions during stacking.
- Ability to work safely in dusty conditions and around big bales.
- Good physical health, including the capacity to lift, bend, and stand for lengthy periods of time.
- Must be willing to work long hours during high season.
