Job Description
This is a 12-month learnership that includes job experience and training. The applicant must be between the ages of 18 and 27.
The position is for AIC (African, Indian, and Coloured candidates only)
Duties
- Help with Bid Office Administration and Bid Preparation and Assembly.
- Senior bid managers might use reporting to help them update and maintain their bid register.
- Help with gate reporting on a weekly basis.
- Proactive examination of bid registration and follow-up with senior bid managers on meeting dates, etc.
- Help with the electronic and paper bid data repositories.
- Help with bid document handling.
- Keep a bid document number register and assign bid document numbers to Senior Bid Managers.
- Bid preparation ensures that adequate resources are available (tools, stationary, space)
- Help Senior Bid Managers with document compilation, copying, scanning, and other related tasks.
- Help Senior Bid Managers prepare documents, including document templates, formatting, and spell-checking.
- Help Senior Bid Managers wherever possible.
- Process and compile B0 light bids at the discretion of the manager of the bid.
Requirements
- Must be between 18 -27 years old
- A diploma or degree in cost and management accounting
- A diploma or degree in procurement management and financial abilities
- A diploma or degree in any of the pillars that ensure tenders/bids are issued on time, such as finance, administration, or business management, is required.
- Working in a bid environment for at least one year will be advantageous.
