Job Description
Duties
- To provide security by protecting
- Save guarding and access control with relation to the building and other premises, as well as their contents (for example, equipment, stores, and personnel) in accordance with the established security processes, rules, and regulations
- Determine whether visitors have appointments and/or the service sought by the visitor.
- Call the appropriate personnel to confirm the appointment or direct the visitor to the appropriate service delivery location.
- Complete or ensure the completion of the admission control register, and issue admission control documents/cards as needed.
- Use X-Ray machines when necessary.
- Lock and unlock entrances
- Detect suspicious behavior
- Ensure that no unauthorized people or harmful objects access the premises/building.
- Follow-up on incidents.
Requirements
- Grade 9
- Grade C (Basic Security Officer’s Course)
- 6 months of work experience in security services
