Requirements
- Grade 12
- Valid code C1 drivers license PrDP
- 1 year experience in similar environment
Responsibilities
- Deliver, collect, load, offload documents, goods and equipment to and from various internal and external departments.
- Ensure that all driver and transport tasks are performed to the highest level of quality standards
- Plan and organise daily work and tasks effectively
- Ensure confidentiality of all types of information handled
- Maintain allocated council vehicles i.e. cleaning of vehicle
- Ensure that vehicle is properly maintained and serviced according to fleet management principles
- Reports accidents/incidents as per the loss control procedures
- Adhere to organisational policies and procedure and ensure smooth running of deliveries
