Job description

Bidvest International Logistics is looking for African females with disabilities to participate in its learnership programme.

This Learnership opportunity is ideal for anybody looking to obtain experience and a certificate in the Freight & Logistics business.
Our offices span the country, including locations in the Eastern Cape, Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, and the Western Cape.

This is a 12-month curriculum that is registered by the Quality Council Traits and Occupations.

BIL has been conducting logistics sector-based learnerships for many years and has graduated a large number of students throughout this period.

Requirements & Experience

  • Grade 12 senior certificate or equivalent
  • Must be a South African citizen
  • Between the ages of 18 and 35
  • Must be available and committed to work full time for 12 months.
  • Individual should have an avid interest in the Transport and Logistics industry.

  • Accountable and responsible to manage self, i.e: stipend and studies
  • Be professional within BIL’s corporate environment, i.e: appearance, behavior and communication
  • Basic computer literacy

Key Responsibilities

  • Be dedicated to a 12-month Learnership program, which will include theoretical and practical components within three divisions.
  • All courses will be done on the BIL eLearning Platform, and a portfolio of proof will be created and submitted upon completion of the certification.
