Requirements
- Grade 10 qualification
- AET Level 4 qualification
- Or an equivalent qualification
- Read and write effectively
- Work under pressure
- Work shifts, night shifts, weekends, and public holidays
Duties
- Clean hospital wards and offices.
- Clean floors, corridors, and boardrooms.
- Clean windows, doors, benches, and bed wheels.
- Clean patient and staff lockers.
- Clean toilets and bathrooms.
- Clean kitchens and cooking equipment.
- High-level dusting and curtain cleaning
- Ensure cleaning checklists are updated.
- Collecting and returning food carts
- Cleaning and storing kitchen items
- Replace toilet paper and hand towels.
- Refilling refreshers and water bottles
- Clean devices and equipment after usage.
- Requesting cleaning supplies when necessary.
Key Responsibilities
Attention to detail
- Hospital cleaning necessitates meticulous attention to detail to ensure that all spaces are adequately cleansed and maintained.
Knowledge of Batho Pele Principles.
