Job Description
The position’s aim is to maintain a high level of hygiene and cleanliness throughout all regions and departments.
Requirements and Skills
- Grade twelve (or similar)
- Direct job experience in a similar role within the same or related industry.
- Proficiency in using industrial cleaning equipment.
- Basic health and safety qualifications/first aid training is desirable.
- High energy levels.
- Sober Habits.
- Professional and presentable.
- Ability to work overtime if necessary.
- Punctual, courteous and hardworking.
- Excellent attention to detail, and high-quality cleaning
- Ability to communicate professionally and helpfully with both personnel and the general public.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- General cleanup of designated locations.
- Emptying and cleaning garbage bins or other similar receptacles, as well as delivering rubbish to authorized pickup places.
- Sweeping and mopping floors.
- Carpeted surfaces can be suction cleaned or “spot” cleaned.
- Using electrically powered scrubbing and polishing equipment to burnish, scrub, polish, and spray clean floors (after correct teaching and training).
- Dust, damp wipe, wash, or polish furniture, ledges, windowsills, and the outside surfaces of cupboards, shelves, and fixtures.
- Restock consumable items (soap, toilet paper, and paper towels).
- Clean the toilets, urinals, hand basins, and drinking fountains.
- Specialised cleaning for showrooms, collections, and office buildings.
- Warehouse racking and stacking facilities require specialised cleaning.
