Job Description
The Limpopo Department of Transport and Community Safety is accepting applications from jobless youngsters aged 18 to 35 for its Traffic Officer Learnership Programme. The scheme provides 204 Learner Traffic Officer posts in five local municipalities. Successful candidates will complete a 12-month learnership and earn an annual stipend of R70,383.
Requirements
- Grade 12 / NQF level 4, or comparable qualification recognized by SAQA.
- Must be between the ages of 18 and 35.
- A valid driver’s license.
- No criminal record.
- Must not have any visible tattoos.
- Be medically, intellectually, and physically fit to participate in a training regimen.
- The applicants must not have been found unsuitable to possess a firearm under the Firearm Control Act of 2000 (Act No. 60 of 2000) or any other applicable legislation.
