Requirements
- 12th/ Matriculation Grade
- 0 – 1 year experience in retailing
- A desire to excel in a team effort.
- Ability to cope with a dynamic and high volume retail setting.
- Excitement.
- A passion for fashion and a lot of confidence in styling your customers for the look they wish to have.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Absolutely passionate about retail/customer services.
- The ability to think for yourself.
- Good communication skills and an enthusiastic nature.
- Flexibility – you could work weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
- Previous experience within the fashion retail industry would be advantageous but is not required.
- Adaptability, the ability to do different jobs in different situations.
Key Responsibilities
- Indirectly involved with ticketing of merchandise as well as verification of paperwork with items received.
- Helps move merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor in a fill-in capacity.
- Helps develop merchandising displays or follows merchandising suggestions/schedules provided by the store management.
- Become proficient in the use of the point-of-sale system through system usage skills. Maintain integrity through policy and procedure observance.
- Use selling skills like add-on sales and explaining technical information to customers for improved salesmanship and sales goal achievement.
- Greet customers at the store and help customers locate the correct merchandise. Sometimes works as a Greeter at the front door of the store especially on busy days.
- Housekeeping (including cleanliness of the store).
- Protection of Company property.
