Requirements

  • Grade 10/AET Level 5 or Grade 12 or Equivalent Qualification 
  • At least one year of relevant experience in a foodservice setting.
  • Previous experience in a hospital food service setting will be beneficial.
  • A fundamental awareness of food safety standards and sanitary methods.
  • Knowledge of Batho Pele Principles for Food Services.
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to complete physically tough tasks.
  • Must be trustworthy, dependable, and accountable.
  • Be willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
