Job Description
Motus Toyota Johannesburg City presently has a position for a light duty driver.
Requirements
- A minimum of Grade 12.
- PDP requires a valid driver’s license.
- There is no prior criminal history.
- Customer orientation.
- Team orientation.
- Must have great verbal communication skills
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver parts to outside suppliers, other branches, customers, and any other destination as necessary.
- Check cars for problems and make sure they’re locked.
- Check the car for damage and overall roadworthy status.
- Report all accidents and traffic violations.
- Perform all other reasonable responsibilities needed by the department.
- Collect all parts from different branches, customers, and outside vendors.
- Ensure that the parts are in good condition at all times and that no damage happens during shipment.
- Assist customers in delivering components.
- Check delivery vehicles for damage, flaws, missing parts, spare wheels, and spanners and report to the supervisor.
- Check that all cars are locked, and the keys are in the secure key box or at reception.
- Work overtime as necessary.
