Job Purpose
To protect gaming, company assets, guests, and employees in accordance with the Gauteng Gambling Board Rules and Regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12) essential.
- Must have PSIRA – Grade C qualification (Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority) is a requirement.
- Previous Gaming Security/Surveillance experience an added advantage.
Main Resposibilites
- To raise awareness about crime prevention, detection, and observation.
- Ensure the highest level of protection for the organization, its employees, and client property.
- Ensure that one is up to date on all internal procedures as well as Gaming Board rules and regulations.
- Ensure that all in-house procedures are followed, as well as the Gaming Board rules and regulations.
- To attend to clearances in an effective manner.
- To observe and report any breaches of procedures to the shift supervisor.
- Ensure that all soft counts for searches, checks, and money verification are carried out efficiently and accurately.
- Ensure that the Jackpots are handled according to the procedures.
- Escort carts in the gambling area with professionalism.
- Respond promptly to conflicts and occurrences.
