Requirements and Skills
- Grade 12 or equivalent is required, and technical expertise in food and beverage manufacturing is preferred.
- Prior experience in beverage production or food processing is desired.
- Understanding of food safety regulations and production methods.
- Ability to use and troubleshoot basic processing equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and dedication to quality.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and overtime as necessary.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Physical Requirements
- The ability to stand for extended periods of time and do repeated tasks.
- Capable of lifting modest weights (up to 25 kg) securely.
- Working in a fast-paced production setting comes naturally to me.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating and monitoring beverage processing equipment (mixers, pasteurizers, fillers, etc.) in accordance with normal operating procedures.
- Assist in blending, mixing, and preparing beverage compositions to meet production needs.
- Ensure adherence to food safety, cleanliness, and quality standards (HACCP, GMP).
- Perform routine inspections of machinery and report any faults or abnormalities.
- Support the cleaning and sanitization of equipment and work environments in order to maintain hygiene requirements.
- Keep precise records of production data, batch numbers, and quality inspections.
- Replace permanent employees during breaks, absences, or high-demand shifts to guarantee ongoing output.
- Collaborate with quality control and warehousing teams to guarantee that final items are delivered on schedule.
- Follow workplace safety rules and contribute to a safe work environment.
