Job Description
A Forklift Driver is in charge of operating forklifts and transporting items within warehouses and other industrial facilities.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a similar job.
- Excellent verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work well with a wide spectrum of people.
- Must hold a valid forklift license.
- Proficient in using the tools necessary for this role.
- Excellent organizing skills.
- Capable of handling big equipment and machines.
- Integrity and effective interpersonal skills

Duties and duties include, but are not limited to:
- Maneuvering forklifts safely in congested industrial situations.
- Safely stacking and unstacking huge amounts of products onto shelves or pallets
- Moving products from storage to loading facilities for transportation.
- Unloading deliveries and carefully transporting them to their appropriate storage facilities.
- Ensure that forklift driving areas are clean of spills or impediments
- Regularly inspecting forklift equipment for flaws or damages.
- Using industrial plastic wraps and wooden pallets to properly stack and package products for transportation.
- Keeping up with health and safety standards and forklift operation protocols.
- Consolidating incomplete pallets of arriving commodities
- Conforming to OSHA and other safety rules.
