Job Description
Supervise cleaning staff in the performance of their duties of cleaning SAA Technical premises and all Customer aircraft ensuring a high-quality product.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Ensure safe working conditions for sub-ordinates
- Ensure that all cleaning duties are performed as per the schedule:
- Interior / Exterior of aircraft (SAA Fleet and customer aircraft)
- Aircraft Landing Gear Wash
- Hangars e.g. Floors/drip trays/stands
- Deep cleaning of aircraft components.
- Premises streets/hard stands/refuse removal etc.
- Supervise sub-ordinates:
- Discipline
- Time control
- Authorise leave of sub-ordinates
- Provide on the job training as required
- Complete all relevant documentation and ensure compliance to policies, procedures and Regulatory requirements
- Ensure serviceability of all cleaning equipment and vehicle inspection
- Maintain daily occurrence book.
- Manage stocks and material to be issued to sub-ordinates.
Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Code B driver’s license
- Stacker License Advantageous
- 2 years’ experience in Aircraft interior/exterior cleaning or relevant experience.

- Have knowledge of SAA Technical Policies and Procedures
- Have knowledge of Safety Standards regarding cleaning of aircraft (equipment and materials)
