Job description
The Santam Learnership Programme is an entry-level transformation project aiming at creating a long-term pipeline of bright individuals who will help businesses achieve their goals by solving the current skills gap in the financial services sector. A qualification, together with the FSCA regulatory tests RE5, would enable learners to apply for professional membership in the Insurance Institute of South Africa (IISA) under the name of IISA Member (MIISA).
Requirements
- The minimum pass grade for English and a second language is 50%.
- Minimum pass grade of 40% for Mathematics, or 60% for Mathematics Literacy.
- Must be a South African unemployed citizen.
- Between the ages of 18 and 28
- Applicants must not be studying at any other institution while on the Learnership.
- Applicants must not have participated in a short-term insurance learnership under INSETA.
- If handicapped, please include a medical letter stating the nature of the condition.
- Applicants should not have more than one year of job experience.
