Key Responsibilities
Sampling & Quality Control
- Sample wheat and flour using recognized processes.
- Label the samples and send them to the laboratory for examination.
- Ensure the traceability of samples.
- Report infestations, leaks, pollution, or unusual odors.
Housekeeping & Cleaning
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Conduct housekeeping inspections and checklist tasks.
- Clean the factory equipment and machinery.
- Maintain food safety and hygiene requirements.
Production Support
- Pick up and mix the back chokes.
- Assist in sieve manufacturing.
- Support the daily milling activities.
- Assist with production shutdowns and changeovers
Maintenance Assistance
- Assist the maintenance and manufacturing teams as necessary.
- Identify equipment flaws or irregularities.
- Support autonomous maintenance tasks.
Bin Crew & Operational Relief
- Provide relief for the bin crew as needed.
- Assist with bin dipping and inventory management.
- Support material handling and intake tasks.
Experience and Shift Work
- A minimum of one year’s operational or manufacturing experience is desirable.
- Milling or food production experience is beneficial.
- Work rotational shifts, weekends, public holidays, and overtime as needed for production demands.
