Job Description

To accurately process cash, ensuring daily reconciliation aligns with company financial controls and audit requirements. The role ensures strict cash handling compliance in a high-volume manufacturing and distribution environment.

Duties And Responsibilities

Cash Handling and Processing
- Receive and process cash from driver salespeople.
- Create receipts for all transactions.
- Check float at the start and end of shift.
- Secure all cash in accordance with the company’s cash control policies.
- Prepare daily cash-up documents.
Reconciliation and Reporting
- Reconcile daily driver earnings against:
- Route
- Settlement Reports
- Returns Documentation Shortages
- and overages
- Variances should be investigated and escalated immediately.
- Prepare daily bank summaries.
Banking & Compliance
- Prepare bank deposits.
- Maintain conformity with:
- Internal Financial Controls
- Audit requirements
- Fraud Prevention Policies
- Maintain the confidentiality of financial information.
