Job Description
We are looking for a Trainee Sales Consultant for our Volkswagen East Rand store. This entry-level role is designed to help you improve your sales abilities in the automotive industry while also providing you with hands-on experience in a fast-paced atmosphere. You will collaborate closely with experienced sales professionals and be actively involved in promoting and selling our car line.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required to conduct client test drives and car delivery.
- Extensive expertise in customer service or sales, ideally in retail or automotive.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, as well as the ability to interact with a wide range of clients.
- A proactive attitude to issue solutions and a desire to learn from comments.
- Basic knowledge of sales processes and practices; training will be provided.
- Proficient computer abilities, especially experience with CRM applications and the Microsoft Office Suite.
Key Responsibilities
- Help clients determine their car needs and preferences while offering exceptional customer service.
- Help the sales team generate prospects through networking and outreach initiatives.
- Participate in product demos and vehicle presentations for potential consumers.
- Continuously learn about our goods, services, and promotions in order to successfully explain the benefits to clients.
- Assist with the creation of sales proposals and follow-up on leads to ensure timely conversion.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support marketing campaigns and dealer events.
- Keep accurate records of customer contacts and sales activity in your CRM system.
- Attend training courses and workshops to help you improve your sales knowledge and abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- A certificate or degree in business, marketing, or a similar sector would be beneficial.
- Previous experience in the automobile business or sales internships would be advantageous.
- A passion for autos and knowledge of automotive market trends.
- Additional language abilities would be deemed beneficial in serving a larger consumer base.
