Job Summary

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Laundry Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling and processing all laundry items in a timely and efficient manner. The Laundry Worker will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized laundry area and performing other related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron laundry items as per the instructions.
• Inspect and treat laundry products for stains and damages.
• Operate laundry equipment, including washing machines, dryers, and ironing machines.
• Keep an inventory of laundry materials and request resupply as needed.
• Label and store all laundry goods in specified spaces.
• Follow safety and sanitary regulations when handling laundry items.
• Clean the laundry area and surroundings.
• Assist with additional jobs assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• The ideal candidate should have prior experience working in a commercial laundry facility
• Be able to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy laundry items.
• Have strong attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Have a basic understanding of laundry equipment and procedures.
• Be willing to work flexible hours, including Saturdays and holidays.
