Job Description
The Chemical Operator Learnership is a three-year structured program that combines theoretical study with practical, on-the-job training, giving trainees firsthand experience with chemical plant operations. Students will learn about production processes, plant safety requirements, quality control systems, and operating procedures in a manufacturing context. Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric Certificate in English, Mathematics, or Math Literacy.
- Grade 12 Physical Science / Physics is desirable.
- Between the ages of 18 and 35.
- A South African citizen.
- I am willing to work in an explosive setting.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and ongoing learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in every scheduled learning activity and assessment.
- Assist in operating and monitoring chemical processing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness standards in the factory.
- Complete workplace logbooks and tasks as needed.
- Work efficiently as a team.
- Adheres to and executes Rheinmetall Denel Munitions Policies & Procedures, as well as ISO Standards for SHE, Quality, Environmental, and Energy compliance.
