Job Description
Fidelity looking for a qualified and experienced CCTV controller to monitor and run our closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems. The ideal applicant will be in charge of guaranteeing the security and safety of our facilities by efficiently monitoring and operating CCTV cameras to detect any suspicious activity or security violations. The CCTV Controller will work closely with security officers and promptly report any occurrences or difficulties.
Qualifications:
- A matriculation certificate.
- Valid Psira certificate (grades A-B).
- Proven experience as a Senior CCTV Controller or in a related job.
- A solid grasp of CCTV technologies and systems.
- Capability to multitask and operate efficiently under duress.
- Excellent communication and observational abilities.
- Knowledge of the appropriate rules, regulations, and standard operating procedures for CCTV surveillance.
- The ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Key responsibilities:
- Monitor various CCTV displays and cameras for any suspicious behavior or security breaches.
- Use cameras to focus on certain locations or persons.
- Report any events, problems, or strange behavior to security officers or the appropriate authorities.
- Keep precise records of all CCTV actions and occurrences.
- To guarantee that CCTV equipment is operating properly, do frequent checks and inspections.
- Assist security professionals in identifying and addressing technical issues with CCTV systems.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies on investigations or events as needed.
- Follow all business rules and procedures pertaining to security and monitoring.
